Vintage Italian Capodimonte-Style Figural Urns – Pair

Striking matched pair of vintage Italian covered urns featuring elaborate hand-painted figural relief decoration, floral accents, and extensive gilt detailing.

Each urn is richly decorated with raised classical figures surrounding the body, accented in soft pink, lavender, green, yellow, and turquoise against a brilliant gold ground. The fluted necks, pedestal bases, and domed lids complete the dramatic Italian decorative design.

The undersides are marked MWB, 16-134, and ITALY. Based on the form, decoration, and markings, these appear to date to approximately the 1950s–1960s and are best described as Italian Capodimonte-style decorative porcelain.

Condition: Vintage condition with age-appropriate wear, particularly to portions of the gilt decoration. One urn has two chips/losses to the raised figural decoration on one side, as clearly shown in the photographs. The damage does not detract significantly when the urn is displayed from the primary viewing side.
