Vintage Department 56 Dickens' Village Poulterer – 1988 – Retired – Excellent Condition – Original Box

A tall, three-story stone poultry shop straight out of a Dickens street scene, the “Poulterer” is one of the most characterful early buildings from Department 56’s Dickens’ Village Series. Introduced in 1988 and retired in 1993, the handpainted porcelain shop climbs from a stone ground floor to a half-timbered gable under a red brick chimney, its name board flanked by two red rooster silhouettes.

Dressed poultry hangs by the arched side doorway and beside the front door, ready for market day, and the bay shop window wears a painted garland. A small “BATH” sign marks the right-hand wall, snow rests on the shingled roofs, and the opening for the light cord sits in the back wall. It comes in its original Department 56 retail box with the original booklet, and a brand-new replacement light cord and bulb are included.
