Vintage Clear Glass Bride’s Basket – Ornate Gold-Tone Filigree Handle – 9"

A bride’s basket was once carried down the aisle filled with flowers, then given a second life as a centerpiece — and this vintage example is easy to picture doing both. A deeply ribbed clear glass bowl flares wide inside an ornate gold-tone metal holder, and an engraved arched handle rises above its scalloped rim.

The maker and exact age of this piece have not been verified. From its materials and construction, it appears to be a vintage piece, possibly mid-20th century, made in a Victorian-inspired taste. We describe only what can be seen in the photographs.
