Vintage 1997 framed memorial portrait honoring Diana, Princess of Wales, issued during the worldwide period of remembrance following her death.
The sepia-toned portrait depicts Princess Diana wearing a tiara, pearl necklace and earrings, with “Goodbye England’s Rose” memorial text printed beneath the image. The original print also carries period wording stating that a portion of the proceeds from its sale would be donated to the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.
This example is especially desirable because it retains its original protective cardboard packaging, including the backing and corner/frame protectors. The original packaging shows expected storage and age-related wear.
The print is presented under glass in a black frame with gold-tone trim.
