Product Details
A farmhouse straight out of a Linda Nelson Stocks painting. The Meadowbrook Farm House is the centerpiece building of the Meadowbrook Farm series in Lang & Wise’s Folk Art Villages collection — a cream clapboard farmhouse with blue shutters, a deep covered porch, and three brick chimneys, modeled on the artist’s beloved Americana artwork.
Issued as a First Edition in 1996, the hand-painted porcelain house is full of fine folk-art detail: individually shuttered windows, a shingled roof with a tiny dormer, and a sculpted green base with shrubs and stone steps. It lights from within on its original electrical cord — included, tested, and working — so the windows take on a warm glow at dusk. The underside carries the full maker’s stamp: Meadowbrook Farm, Folk Art Villages by Linda Nelson Stocks, “Meadowbrook Farm House,” First Edition 1996, Lang & Wise, Ltd., made in China.
