A Wonderful Piece of Christmas Collecting History
This impressive vintage 1985 Duncan Royale Mongolian Santa comes from the celebrated History of Santa II collection, a distinctive series honoring interpretations of Santa Claus from different cultures and traditions.
Caught mid-stride as if walking into the winter wind, he wears a fur-trimmed deep-blue coat over a teal robe with a gold sash, his long gray beard and coat streaming behind him. He grips a tall twisted wooden staff and carries a toy drum, two small dolls, and a brass horn — gifts in the Mongolian tradition.
This example is individually numbered 06390 from a limited edition of 10,000 and retains its original gold identification plates and signature green felt-covered base.

Excellent vintage condition. Beautifully preserved, with the original green felt base intact along with both original gold collector identification plates. A wonderful example of this approximately 41-year-old collectible.
