A beautifully preserved vintage 1985 Duncan Royale “Befana” figurine from the celebrated History of Santa Claus II collection. This individually numbered Collectors Edition is limited to 10,000 pieces, and this example bears the original identification number 06390/10000.
Inspired by the beloved Italian Christmas tradition, Befana is the legendary gift-giving figure who visits children on the eve of Epiphany. Duncan Royale captures this enchanting folklore character with exceptional sculptural detail, traditional clothing, and rich hand-painted finishes.
Befana wears a flowing brown cape over her colorful patchwork dress, carrying her traditional broom and a woven basket filled with toys — a tiny rocking horse and doll among them. Her expressive face, flowing gray hair, and charming accessories make this an outstanding example of Duncan Royale’s collectible craftsmanship. Even the base carries a sculpted detail: a small lizard at her feet.
