Vintage 1970 Signed K. Nelson Floral Still Life – Original Oil on Canvas – Framed

An original vintage oil painting on canvas from 1970, this richly textured floral still life glows in warm gold, yellow, orange, blue and green against a deep, moody background.

The bouquet is built up with expressive, heavily applied brushwork — true impasto you can see and almost feel — arranged in a simple pottery vessel for a classic mid-century decorative look. It is signed at the lower left “K. Nelson” and dated ’70. The artist’s identity has not been independently verified, so the painting is offered on its decorative quality, age, craftsmanship and presentation rather than on a specific artist attribution.

It comes presented in its ornate gold-tone frame with a wide fabric-style liner and coordinating inner gold trim — a substantial, finished presentation that suits traditional, European-inspired, eclectic, cottage and collected interiors.
