Vintage 1968 Jim Beam The Broadmoor Hotel 50th Anniversary Ceramic Decanter

In 1968, the James B. Beam Distilling Co. marked fifty years of The Broadmoor — the grand Colorado Springs resort that opened in 1918 — with this figural decanter, handcrafted by the Regal China Corporation and designed by C. Miller. The hotel itself becomes the bottle: cream-glazed walls, warm brown rooftops, rows of tiny windows, and the Broadmoor's tower rising straight into the ceramic stopper. The back carries the hotel's name plaque flanked by the years 1918 and 1968.

It originally held Beam's 110-month-old Kentucky straight bourbon, and its original foil label — reading Kentucky Straight, 110 Months Old, bottled by James B. Beam Distilling Co., Clermont • Beam, Kentucky — is still in place, along with the paper federal tax strip over the stopper. This decanter is EMPTY and is sold solely as the decorative collectible it has become: a piece of American whiskey and grand-hotel history for a home bar, bar cart, or decanter cabinet.
