Vintage 1997 Department 56 Barmby Moor Cottage – Dickens’ Village – Mint in Box

Bring the charm of a traditional English village home for the holidays with Barmby Moor Cottage, a hand-painted porcelain lighted building from Department 56's Dickens' Village Series, in the Heritage Village Collection.

Introduced in 1997 and retired in 2000, the cottage is richly detailed: textured brown brickwork, a snow-dusted shingled roof with twin brick chimneys and twin dormers, blue-trimmed windows including the diamond-pane window beside the door, an evergreen garland with red bows, a Christmas wreath on the door under its little porch roof, and the white name plaque reading "Barmby Moor Cottage." The underside is stamped Dickens' Village Series "Barmby Moor Cottage," © Department 56 1997, and carries its "Made in China" inspection sticker.
