Step back into the charm of Victorian England with this 1990 Department 56 “Tutbury Printer” from the Dickens’ Village Series. It is the village print shop, in classic Tudor dress: cream stucco and dark half-timbering, a brown shingle roof with patches of snow, red-framed windows, a green Christmas wreath between the upper windows, and a garland swag beneath the big ground-floor shop window. The painted sign beside the door reads “Tutbury Printer — RM 1810.”
Introduced in 1990, this pre-owned example is in excellent vintage condition and presents beautifully. It comes with its correct original Department 56 box and protective Styrofoam inserts, and a brand-new replacement light cord and bulb are included so the building can be illuminated. The original packaging may show normal age-related storage wear.
