A storybook Tudor inn for your Dickens' Village street. The Pied Bull Inn is a tall half-timbered building with a stone ground floor, snow resting on its dark shingled roofs, glowing lattice windows, and a flight of stone steps up to the door. The front carries its molded "The Pied Bull" sign, the 1786 date plaque, "23 Saint John's Nook" at the base — and its original gold Charles Dickens hanging flag on the iron bracket, the piece so often missing from this building. From Department 56's Dickens' Village Series, endorsed by the Charles Dickens Heritage Ltd. Foundation.
This example is in excellent vintage condition. Its original lighting cord has been tested and works perfectly. It comes with the original Charles Dickens Heritage booklet and the green Dickens' Village hangtag, and it is packaged in its original fitted Styrofoam packaging; the original cardboard retail sleeve is not included.
