The Mermaid Fish Shoppe is the village fish merchant, rendered by Department 56 for the Dickens' Village Series in hand-painted porcelain. The corner shop charms from every angle: a green bay window, the painted Mermaid sign, a bold FISH SHOPPE storefront sign, and crates of the day's catch by the door — and it glows warmly when lit.

Introduced in 1988 and retired in 1993, this Heritage Village Collection building is part of the Merchant Shops group of Dickens' Village storefronts. This example is in excellent vintage condition and includes a NEW replacement light cord and bulb, so it can take its place in your Christmas village display right away.
