Ceramic Christmas Village Toy & Doll Shop – Lighted Holiday Storefront

An old-fashioned toy shop, shrunk to village scale. This hand-painted ceramic storefront wears pale gray-blue siding with warm brown trim, a row of white cornice blocks under a snow-dusted flat roof, and a red-and-white striped awning over the door. The big shop window is lettered by hand — “Toys” over one pane and “Dalls” over the other, exactly as the painter wrote it — with a tiny wreath, a candy cane and a Christmas tree painted in the glass.

The maker is unidentified; a gold “Made in China” sticker sits on the underside. The building is made to light from within: the cord and clip-in socket are in place (see the underside photo), but the light has not been tested and no bulb is confirmed, so please plan on fitting a standard village bulb. The painted body shows light wear at the cornice and window edges consistent with age, and a little clear tape residue remains on the underside from a prior tag. No original box.
