Vintage 1977 Fitz & Floyd Japanese Warrior Guardian Porcelain Figurine
A striking vintage Fitz & Floyd porcelain figure dating to 1977, featuring a dramatically modeled Japanese-style warrior or guardian figure in a glossy white glaze.
The sculpture is exceptionally detailed, from the expressive facial features and elaborate headdress to the flowing garments, hands, feet, and sweeping sculptural elements surrounding the figure. The monochromatic white porcelain finish gives the piece a classic blanc-de-chine-inspired appearance and allows the intricate modeling to take center stage.
The underside is marked “© FF FITZ AND FLOYD INC. MCMLXXVII”, dating the piece to 1977, and retains its “FF MEXICO” label.
