Department 56 Dickens Village Old Globe Theatre 58501 Set of 4 New in Box

Shakespeare's Globe, in porcelain. Department 56's rendition of London's Old Globe Theatre is the second grouping in the Dickens' Village Historical Landmark Series — a round, multi-sided Tudor theatre with dark lattice timbering, galleries, stage, tiny lanterns and its open yard, decorated for the season. Two trumpeting heralds announce the newest production, the flag flies overhead, and a landscaped sign with the landmark's name completes the set of four. Department 56 limited this piece to its year of production.

This set is new: the box was opened for photographs only, and the pieces have never been removed from their original fitted Styrofoam and protective packaging — they have not been individually inspected, and the lighting has not been tested. The original lighting cord and literature are included. The retail box shows age-related storage wear and spotting, as the photographs show.
