Department 56 Dickens' Village Butter Tub Farmhouse #58337 MINT

An English country farmhouse straight out of a Dickens winter: twin cream-stucco gables rise over a stone ground floor, under a red tile roof patched with snow and a slate-roofed side wing. The hand-lettered sign by the front door reads "Butter Tub Farm," and the farmyard details do the storytelling — a work bench with crocks and churns, a red butter stand, a rain barrel, holly sprigs, and a wreath over the door.

Butter Tub Farmhouse is a lighted building from Department 56's Dickens' Village Series, in the Heritage Village Collection. Department 56's own retirements record shows it introduced in May 1996 and retired in December 1999. The underside is molded "Dickens' Village Series — 'Butter Tub Farmhouse' — © Department 56 1996," with its original inspection sticker reading Made in China.

This example is in mint condition. The original lighting cord is included and has been tested — the lighting works. It comes with its original retail box and fitted Styrofoam, the green Heritage Village booklet, and its original hangtag. The cardboard box shows normal age-related storage and handling wear; the porcelain building itself is mint.
