Chinese Floral Porcelain Vase & Bowl Set with Gilt Accents
A striking coordinating Chinese porcelain set featuring a large baluster-form vase and matching decorative bowl. Both pieces are richly decorated with colorful peonies and flowering branches in shades of pink, coral, lavender, blue and green, highlighted with extensive hand-applied-style gilt detailing.
The vase features an especially elaborate floral and geometric border around the flared neck, while the bowl carries the same floral palette and decorative border treatment. Both pieces bear matching-style red Chinese seal marks to the underside.
